This was the first race that I’ve taken photos of completely by myself and it was so much fun! The race itself is put on by some awesome people in the Crowsnest Pass with some really cool ideas and 2018 was its second year.

The course changes each year and takes on mountain peaks, ridges, scree, and lots of other really cool features. This makes it challenging for the racers, as well as for myself as a photographer as there is a lot of ground to cover, carrying a fair amount of camera gear.

But what fun is photography without a challenge?
