Location: Crowsnest Pass, Alberta

My hometown of the Crowsnest Pass had its first film festival this year and as part of it, there was a film competition for people to enter. This was my submission.

I wanted to create something that reflected how we’re connected to the mountains and why they matter to us, as the theme for the competition was #MountainsMatter.

What I came to realize is that the mountains are home and that’s the deepest reason that mountains matter to us. Because of this, I’ve titled the video “Home”.
